He graduated from The George Washington University in 1969 and St. John’s University School of Law in 1972. Lee, as he is usually called, has remained as an attorney in good standing for the entire time he has been admitted to the Bar. He has never been sanctioned by any court.

In addition to the Courts in New York state, Mr. Greene has been admitted to practice before the following Courts: the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Fourth Circuits; and the United States Supreme Court. Lee has also been admitted to practice, pro hac vice before state courts in Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky and Washington and federal courts in South Carolina, the Western District of Kentucky and the Southern District of Florida (Miami Division).


Prior to becoming active in the private practice of law, Lee served as a law clerk to three state Supreme Court  Justices-- Hon. Edward J. Greenfield  (Ret.), Hon. Max Bloom (Dec.) and the Hon. George Starke (Dec.) in the Supreme Court, New York County. During his time with Justices Greenfield and Bloom, he drafted between 800 and 1,000 decisions each year. Lee also worked as a law clerk for a Civil Court Judge also in Manhattan. In all, Lee worked in the state Court system for slightly more than ten years. In his capacity as an attorney working for judges, Mr. Greene had occasion to review many complex commercial cases and class actions.
